He was one of my sister’s cat’s kittens that I was planning on keeping once he was a little bigger. I was really sad this last week but he at least died peacefully and was warm and happy.
We don’t know for sure why he died but he always had issues eating and got sick a lot. He was also much smaller than his siblings and looked like he had dwarfism or something similar. He died suddenly but at least with no pain.
I loved him 
His name wasn’t a SpongeBob reference it was just a randomly picked name.

RIP little Marsey.
Both of my childhood dogs died recently. My golden retriever was nearly 19 years old, and the second was a rescue dachshund-mix who was 20.
You do feel goofy mourning an animal, but those animals do imprint on us. My parents took it a lot harder. My mother called me crying when they died. She's become a lot more religious, so I wrote her this piece. She seemed to like it.

For our time together was a true blessing.
Though tears may fall, and my heart may ache,
I know that in Heaven, my friend awaits.
As Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 proclaims,
"To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

So I cherish the memories we made,
And hold on to the love that will never fade.

The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.'"
So, my dear dog, I do not say goodbye,
But rather, until we meet again in the sweet by and by.
