my local big lots is seemingly closing down and it sucks big lots is great they always have so much cheap stuff that i don't actually need but have to buy because i'm losing money if i don't.

One time in college three of us bought an inflatable raft from Big!Lots because it was $15 and we were drunk and tried to raft part of the Chicago river but the water was too shallow and/or we were too heavy (
) so it scraped on some rocks on the bottom and sprung a leak and started to sink.
And that's how I ruined some trainers I liked wading through toxic sludge and why to this day I hate Big!Lots - for my shoes and for the stupid exclamation mark in the middle of their name.
