I stopped live tweeting to actually experience the situation. Protest is done. Here are my last thoughts.

Pro-Palestine protestors got arrested. In general, the pro-Israel side seemed to like the police more than the pro-Palestine side. Pro-Israel side would often chant "NYPD." I did not observe any bias of the NYPD towards either side.

I was told that the Pro-Palestine side ripped and spat on a flag of Israel. The police took the flag from them. Isn't that a First Amendment violation?

I heard from several pro-Palestine protestors that Hamas did not kill any civilians.

I was told that Philos Project, a Christian nonprofit, had a major role in organizing the pro-Israel counterprotest.
