Not to be a !jidf poster but what's the actual problem with putting kids in a cell for a few hours while you figure out what to do with them? Like I'm sure everyone does that with their prisoners of war you don't just let them out to run around because they're underage
Edit: I just realized we literally keep babies in barred cribs but if you put a top on it suddenly everyone acts like it's a war crime
