*yakety sax plays in the distance*

1. Palestinian authorities claim hospital was bombed, 500+ dead

2. Israel claims hamas and/or Islamic jihad did bombed the hospital and posts then removes fake video proof

3. Footage shows the hospital wasn't even bombed to begin with

What will happen next? :taysilly:

I'm pretty sure the video proof is back on the tweet

Link?

Did they just swap out the proven fake videos with a video that is impossible to verify or debunk?

If you're talking about the ones posted last night/afternoon, two of those don't have the right timestamp, one is from 2022, and one of the ones without the right timestamp has something like 'IDF strikes against hezbollah in lebanon' in the headline. The one that's been circulating today shows rockets firing towards Israel and away from the hospital, but idk if that was posted by a state actor

My queen you are thinking too much about this, just wait a few hours until the newspapers release their own independent investigations.

Yeah, I'm waiting until a non-US, non-MENA-affiliated third party conducts an independent analysis to draw any final conclusions.

This lol. Any syriancivilwar chad here knows what a fricking shitshow modern wars are due to social media. And even then, rebels/SAA were fricking r-slurred in comparison to the insane propaganda that is pushed frantically from all sides in the past few wars (even the Azerbaijan conflict, literally who cares war, was batshit insane in terms of rhetoric). I'm glad I got gaslit by random Syrians account enough in 2015 that I'm now way more into waitandseemaxxing.

You should do a write up on some of the old syriancivilwar drama. It seems like there were always crazy blow-ups but it was too neurodivergent for me to get into

I really need to. It was amazing because it was a microcosm of what we see happening now, just at much smaller scales because 1. No one cares about Syria 2. They were both terrible at actually fighting. Yet most of the war happened live on twitter. You actually had tards arguing about which specific building was taken by who, posting from said buildings to prove the other side wrong... The Syrian army was accused of barrel bombing 6 out of every 5 hospital in Syria and the rebels were apparently lying about every single civilian death. Sure, that happens in every war but it was the first war that I would consider "terminally online"

I'll try to write something next time when I'm on a Vyvanse binge lol.

It wouldn't even be that hard since I'm pretty sure /r/syriancivilwar and /r/syriancirclejerkwar are still alive.
