Unfortunately urban fighting means close proximity to civilians, which inevitably results in them getting caught in the crossfire. Fallujah was basically a ghost town by the time the battle you linked started which is why the civilian casualties were so low. Unfortunately for the palestinoids Egypt refuses to accept refugees. And Israel sure as heck isn't going to let them in.

Their kdr against actual combatants in this war is something like 3.
This pretty clearly means attacker vs defender KIA. Civvie deaths are irrelevent for this metric.
As for your "examples"
Skill issue
I don't trust wiki numbers (1:7-15) at all here since they seem based on Iraq official figures only. But still likely more than 1:3
What the heck are you talking about???? Dude above was talking about civilian vs combatant casualties, which is in the 2-3:1 ratio for this war. If you're talking idf vs Hamas casualties then it's about 100:5000.
1. "children" literally means everyone under 18, which incidentally is the median age in Gaza. A lot of Hamas combatants would technically be "children".
2. The numbers and breakdown of casualties are all based on reports put out by Hamas, so I'm sure they're 100% accurate even though on some days they report near zero or negative numbers of adult male casualties.

It really is shocking how few Hamas guys they've actually killed. Their kdr against actual combatants in this war is something like 3.

You've got to include casualties who would have become Hamas combatants

That's pretty much the norm for urban combat.

Oh wow! You found a single battle with lower ratio. Guess conventional thinking is wrong!

Given how many of the dead are women and children, there can't have been more than a couple thousand who weren't civilians.
