I don't get why there's so many countries that send just one company. Like wtf is even the point? The difficulty of communicating with them is going to be more trouble than they're worth.
Actually broke butt countries make money sending their soldiers who get paid $6/Mo with a few rusty AKs so they can go spread disease and molest all the local refugee women.
Look at the UN intervention to Haiti where 3rd world peacekeepers somehow made Haiti worse
Yeah, but it used to be some country like Fiji would actually send a whole battalion. There used to be a few countries that specialized in pimping out their troops as UN peacekeepers and it was a big industry there.
Maybe I'm just confused because they changed their organization, but back 20 years ago they had about 10 countries that each provided one battalion and had their own sector of the line. I remember looking at this exact same map 20 years ago and it wasn't nearly this cluttered. Maybe the people making the map now are just tarded and don't know how to express information effectively.
It's not a terrible deal if you treat it as paid training.
That said if I was a broke butt country my bluehats would just be a cover for the Special Forces guys rolling around committing war crimes on smelly terrorists

I think sometimes you can get the US to give you military equipment and then at the end of the deployment you get to take it home and keep it.
