Meanwhile, Raj falls in love with Brazilian Duda, who initially fights for Raj's affections but the cultural conflicts exhaust and disillusion her, and she turns away from Raj for a new love. Ravi then falls in love with a Brazilian woman, Camilla. As she tries to adapt to Hindu culture, she provokes conflict in the Ananda family of tradespeople, as Raj's younger sister Shanti aspires to become educated and eschews the traditional roles for women favoured by her mother. Ravi and Camilla eventually marry.

Imagine fighting for a baniyacel's love :marseydicklet:

There was also another novela about China (i.e. Macau, where Braziloid brainlets think that they still speak Poortuguese), the only thing I remember about it was the Kung Fu Triad fight scene in the beginning, because we Macacochads can be racist and get away with it! :chad:

I just find it very weird how there still hasn't been a novela with a Japan gimmick (as far as I am aware of), given how much omnipresent Japanese immigrants have been in Brazil for over a century, my first thought is that pretty much all Brazilians are already somewhat familiar with Japanese shit, and Japanese-Brazilians are already very assimilated to Macacostan society, so making a novela about Japan isn't as exotic or interesting to Brazilians.
