I'm not a particularly culturally 'in-tuned' Malayalee, but the more I volunteer in ethnic Indian spaces in Singapore, the more I feel like non-Tamils are there just to be token minority-minorities.

There was also another novela about China (i.e. Macau, where Braziloid brainlets think that they still speak Poortuguese), the only thing I remember about it was the Kung Fu Triad fight scene in the beginning, because we Macacochads can be racist and get away with it!

I just find it very weird how there still hasn't been a novela with a Japan gimmick (as far as I am aware of), given how much omnipresent Japanese immigrants have been in Brazil for over a century, my first thought is that pretty much all Brazilians are already somewhat familiar with Japanese shit, and Japanese-Brazilians are already very assimilated to Macacostan society, so making a novela about Japan isn't as exotic or interesting to Brazilians.
