VR is too neurodivergent and high-barrier-of-entry for normies, anyone expecting it to carry a big project is an r-slur, though I understand Oculus employees want to justify their existence.

Seriously using a regular computer enough is hard enough for the average person. Imagine installing and troubleshooting VR Tech on top of that it's only like 5% of the population that can accomplish that.

There are also space considerations and what I'd call anti-social aspect of it. Imagine flailing your arms around while your wife is sitting on the couch and your dog/kids are running around you. Most people just won't do this nor will they lock themselves alone into a dedicated VR room, only autists and manchildren will.
