Google's product designers should talk to my unhoused friends.

When you require a mobile phone number for authentication, you guarantee that unhoused people will permanently lose access to their email when their phone is lost, stolen or destroyed (roughly every 12 weeks).

Why are the homeless more important than the elderly? From my experience, boomer tards and older are the ones who most often lose access to email accounts because they thought 2FA was necessary, didn't know to deactivate it prior to switching phone numbers, or didn't have the knowledge to go shopping around for non-2FA email providers before problems emerge. Young homeless have no excuse for boomer-tier r-sluration.
