I think the downside to this is that it requires a lot of extra processing and database space for every "banned" user. It would also be super easy to test for if it was a known possibility. Honestly would probably make more people freak out thinking they are only talking to bots than people who get banned with this method.

Nah, you could segregate them. You wouldn't need an individual containment space for each user, you'd just sandbox them away from each other and mix in some bots as shepherds to drive the narrative that works to push each group of marks in the direction you want them to go.

Would be usable for extremely persistent banned users such as Krayon (sister toucher) or LLM, though such people would be suspicious if they got unbanned and loved after being banned a dozen+ times.
