The Southwest fatality was a 737-700 not the 737 Max.

To be fair, Airbus has had similar wtf moments, like the time the entire rear stabilizer ripped off during normal flight or when an entire flight smacked it into the Pacific ocean due to iced pitots

Tupolev or Comac don't even need to be mentioned:

In their defense, the Tupolev pilots were drunk and had 48 tons of canned salmon and heroin as cargo not on the manifest throwing off the weight balanced
