i mean its just as easy as installing pipewire and using another init system (i use gentoo so it was quite easy) and all of the pots are removed

you can wat h an entire presentation on a freebsd dev suck off systemd and why they will go with something very similar in freebsd (its called "the tragedy of systemd" or smthn)

They've floated adopting launchd which is macOS's init system but they currently use the same init-style since the BSD of yore.

Yeah they're not exactly a fast moving OS. 32 bit is finally getting depreciated but not for another major release which has a long tail, for example.
