I use vs code. :soyjakanimeglasses:

I have used emacs in the past but it's not great if you don't run it 24/7 :marseynerd:

I get the appeal of vi/m but I honestly use nano for text editing on the server :marseyshrug:

perhaps it's a !zoomers thing. It's pretty comfortable when you're used to Windows style GUIs. Modal editing is powerful but it's very vi/m specific so it's pretty easy to not stumble upon it until later.

Nano binds are emacs binds, so if vi is muscle :marseychudheart: memory :marseycensored: you won't get it

It's easier if you learned text editing via Word.

vs code.

My issue is on macs with C and C++ build and run is broken so you need to edit your script in vs code and then run the compiler and the binary from a seperate terminal instance
