Navy chiefs do a little opsec fail

The chiefs mess all paid in and they set up repeaters throughout the whole ship lol. Strictly kept it to e-7 and above but no officers.

Turns out even criminal conspiracy and a court martial wont get you demoted from chief.

There was one who was but it was for sleeping with an e3 who worked for him and when they got caught she claimed r*pe

navy is really fricking up left and right

there was that commander the other day who got relieved of duty for posting a picture of himself shooting a gun with the scope on backwards.

That is a very dramatic firing stance.

Elbows up, hoes down.

Feet, knees, elbows

Love the hand on his shoulder. Looks like somebody going, "Uh, sir..."

Nah it's his fault for not noticing, but he definitely got set up by his lower enlisted. Probably cuz he's bad at other shit and they wanted him gone.

How often do you think Navy officers use guns as part of their job

What kind of r-slur argument is this? They literally are trained to use rifles.

This is like a mock AR you give to the range newbie to laugh at them.

Pretty sure Navy OCS only does pistol qualification.

Not uncommon when dealing with pirates or other motorboat small craft.

Ziggers :marseysoldierrussia: commonly resort to AKs when attacked by naval drones (aka remote guided torpedo boats, ww2 tech), but you clearly need at least .50 cal to stop unmanned boat.

tbh I don't think officers even shoot guns except like once during training. most af/navy ENLISTED only ever shoot guns during basic, except for secfo/ milpolice who have to shoot regularly.

oh and maybe army/ marines im not sure i know they have a rifle week but i don't know much shooting they do

idk all Marines shoot at least once a year as a service requirement so that's around 2-3 weeks on the range and tables 1-6, the specific stuff for their unit and MOS METL like combat arms has to shoot heavies and probably maybe CQB and sometimes just to burn ammo

Did he assemble that gun set up himself? Like they still have guns around for officers?

He was probably disliked by the people he led so the armorer handed him a gun with the scope backwards to make him look r-slurred.

I don't think he was fired for the picture more likely the loss of confidence in his ability to lead.

Ah maybe it was a joke. can you see through a backwards scope? I guess its all just blue water anyway

Marines all have personally issued weapons but he probably got his from the MAs on the boat

Yeah I saw that and wondered how the frick that would result in being relieved. Seemed like there must have been something else.

Being an r-slur isn't a crime. Getting caught being an r-slur and becoming famous for it is.

The whole thing is embarrassing.

1. Scope is on backwards

2. Shoulder stock isn't against the shoulder

3. Chickenwing arm = bad shooting stance

4. Foregrip not mounted nearly far enough out

5. Again how do you mount a scope backwards and never realize between setting it up and using it for this photo

Making the unit and service look stupid will get you relieved no problem
