if we can't use all these fricking trillions of dollars of info tech,
to automatically put together a single, perfect account of what i'm currently committed to, how much, when i'll pay, and by what method,
which we can't... not even remotely...
all those after the fact "market" solutions attempting to detect/reconstruct this from email/bank transactions, are nowhere near epistemologically equivalent as having direct access to a source of truth,
nor do all the subscriptions i'm committed to even have such breadcrumbs, in year 2025...
just frick every last r-slurred fricking !codecels that exist.
god, just frick you dude. frick your inability to cooperate.
and frick you for of even thinking of suggesting this is "the best" we can do

due to compliance and regulation, it would be a security and privacy breach to allow 3rd party apps access your bank account
The banks would have to separate the payment statements into an isolated area, and even then they'd have to deal with privacy laws
No way the banks would invest money themselves to fix it, they are rslurs

my bank account does not actually contain the subscription state.
that's gunna be in some payment system that interfaces with payments methods that charge my account, not the actual bank account itself.
i don't expect them to.
i'm actually accusing !codecels, the people who write the systems,
of generally having their heads up their buttholes for allowing this,
not the banks.
