Is this VPN fine?

I've been using this VPN software called sofether with a plugin for vpngate, it basically gives a pretty large list of ips that constantly change so they can sometimes even bypass sites that block proxy ips. I think in return my own connection is available as a vpn to others, that's how they can offer so many new ips and occasionally I'll see personal names used in the name column which means its probably personal pcs serving as the connection. I'm a bit unclear on this point and I'm not going to :marseyreading: nerd stuff. Turns out that might have gotten me on some vpn block filter on a chan, it is an otherwise static broadband connection that would have no reason for being banned. But that makes me think, is it safe? As in will I end up being liable if someone fricks around with a connection through mine? They keep logs for 14 days.

Was I the one who recommended it to you? It's mostly IP addresses of Japanese/Korean universities so I don't they'll give a rat's butt unless you did a real big whoops lol

It's good for farming accounts and shit because they're not listed as VPNs in the Geoip database

No I found it on my own. And no I don't mean them caring about me I'm wondering if my connection is also being used as a vpn by someone else and potential consequences from that. Assuming that's how it works I'm not sure.

Your India IP or the VPN's? If it's the latter it's because that IP address is shared publicly
