Solovyev and his tovarisch explain that joking about T-54 is inappropriate, adding that they could equip a whole division with T-34's from pedestals if they need to. pic.twitter.com/rx3xqABp6t

the way they are using armor it really doesnt matter what year the tank is from a javelin will destroy it anyways

Yeah but consider that Ukraine's main form of defense is landmines and a 70 year old tank is going to get shredded by a modern anti tank mine

Yeah russians just want to deplete ukraine's javelin stock, as usual trying to drown the enemy in russian blood.

Too bad these T-55s are the last reserve of Russian tanks. People joke about sending T-34s but Russia doesn't actually have any of those in reserve outside of a few parade units. In a few months when all these T-55s are scrapped in exchange for a few more blocks of bahkmut that will be end of all the equipment they inherited from the USSR. All re-armenant after that will have to be new tanks and you only have to look at the Armata's "production" to see that its not going to happen.

Soldiers advance in pairs, only one takes tank, if the man at your side dies you pick up their tank and keep going

I heard theories that they use them as artillery pieces since they can import ammo from Iran.

It's a shitty artillery gun. It has a light and fast projectile made for piercing armor

this is less drama, and more pathetically sad
he has such an undeveloped set of social skills and lack of awareness of the size of things it's piteous
