The US leak had nothing about US elites in Bakhmut. Had 100 volunteers die which is a great price to pay for 200,000 dead Russians! 2,000:1 k/d ratio is great.
Theres no way Ukraine ever retakes Crimea, it's Russian now and a bargaining chip for Ukraine to give up when Putin can't accomplish either of his goals and has to give up. He claimed to want to demilitarize Ukraine but instead just made their military stronger and kill more Russians.
The counter offensive is being called for by America because it'll end up killing thousands more Russians which is great for America. Dead Russian soldiers is all America really wants ,and its what were getting.

Dude they were 2nd biggest army in Europe and had worlds 4th largest artillery arsenal and now they scavenging shit around the world. Their population now won’t exists in 40 years. They losing women every day, (the women that are living Ukraine) those women will never come back to Ukraine and Ukraine lost over 8 million of young women/children. Their fertility rate is also 3th worst in the world after Singapore and SK. Those Ukrainian men in the tranches thinking they are saving their nationality while their women in Europe are getting banged by Arabs just to survive and not to get a job. I doubt many of those Ukrainian really tought about what they are fighting, Russian were never gonna genocide them, tons of Russian generals are ethnic Ukrainian as tons of Ukrainian generals are ethnic Russian.
This is probably the stupidest war in history.

You're missing the point of my comment, it isnt about Ukraine or their people.
It's about how great it is that Russians soldiers are being killed by the tens of thousands! Without Russias arch rival having to have any of its own conscripts killed. Ever day this war drags on more Russian soldiers die, which is awesome for the West.
And the counter offensive America is calling for is exactly that. Calling for more dead Russian soldiers without having to sacrifice any american soliders (only volunteers). Its an absolute win for America even if Ukraine doesnt win. Thats why we're calling for the offensive, not because we really think Ukraine will take back Crimea (which is never going to happen)
And yeah youre correct this is the stupidest war in history. Russia has had hundreds of thousands of its soldiers killed for 20% of a poverty country! And the rest of the world no longer thinks theyre competent, NATO has added more allies, and America hasnt had any conscripted soliders killed!

West is dying faster that Russian soldiers are dying. Soon Arabic will be the only language in European capitals and assimilating them should been the main priority of EU than to frick with Russia.

The Ukrainian counteroffensive mb never will be launched since Ukrainian generals don’t want that without 1000’s western tank.
NATO didn’t aded more allies, Saudi joined China and Iran. Turkey showed that they don’t care about mayos and Japan showed it cares more about it’s economy that follow sanctions.
In long run it would be a bad decision to help Ukraine since it just made China more powerful and didn’t stop Taiwan war. China now has 0 doubts about invading it.

But tbf China isnt as incompetent as Russia, their army might actually be a threat to take over another country. Russia cant even take over a poverty stricken country! Here we are a year later and Ukraine hasnt been demilitarized or "denazified" as Putin said it would be. Any day now I'm sure Russia will achieve its goals lol...

Thing with Bakhmut it’s Zelenskyy polls. Burgers many time told him to leave bakhmut to focus on “counter offensive” but he used elite soldiers that were supposed to go on offensive to protect bakhmut. Burgers also showed they will gladly replace Zelenskyy.
So Zelenskyy needs bakhmut but Biden needs any counter offensive , to Biden don’t even need to be huge just something to sell as win and then quit Ukraine.
France is already talking with China about ending that war this summer and Germany wants to end this autumn.
Many in the west think if Ukraine launch a counteroffensive and fails then they will start peace talk and be done with it but that’s not how real life works. Russian started preparation for new mobilization, they adjusting economy and getting now Chinese support. If Ukraine launch a counteroffensive and fails, Russian will reject any peace talk.
