He wants to be European. Like you see Russian have victory day on 9 may because the war end declaration was signed on 8 May 23:10 Central European time so that would put Ukraine clock at 00:10 May 9. But Zelenskyy moved the Ukrainian victory day to 8 May to be closer to European
and made 9 May the day of Europe. So he downplayed Ukrainian ww2 achievement just to be cool as western country. It’s kinda Eastern European mentality that think western pooping gold so they trying to imitate western. I think as African expert you understand this like how in Africa a mayo absolutely r-slur can get better job than a educated black man.
