Oh I agree, but the United States in particular has gotten extremely good at complex casualty evacuation and care, so even if soldiers beg to be killed you won't see a situation where US troops just casually blast their comrade in the head and walk it off. Shows that Russians don't have much hope of being rescued in dire situations

As I said, that soldier is a bad example. It's highly unlikely he would have survived that hit, so he probably just wanted to get it over with.
