The first day they drove past every checkpoint. Some checkpoints they were able to capture and in some like Sudzha they failed.

And then Russian reinforcements arrived.

When Ukraine group drive past a check point it will stop and wait for next group to attack the check point to the front and then attack that check point also from back and doing illusion of encirclement. That's how they captured Russian conscripts but the more they went from borders the more resistance they faced so that's why they failed to capture Sudzha despite being able to move past it

It's video from first day when they driven past all the checkpoints to reach as far as possible. Similar how they did in Kharkiv offensive in 2022 but this time it was different back then Ukraine had more man power than Russian and Russian didn't knew that tactics so now Ukrainian are just stuck before the first defence lines on low land.

The reason why khohols non stop claiming this town is because it's a cross road without controlling it Russian can enter to the rare of those khohols that continue moved to the nord. It's the only true road in that region.

Russian would sooner wipe out that town that let khohols control it so that's why the video is old

In the second day of this beautiful shitfest it has been reported that khohols captured one of the four main segments of Sudzha and have been struggling to capture the rest since then. So technically ukros have been in that city for days (also stop making me write that name, it's a b-word to spell)
