Russia - China friendship breaking down. :marseysoldierrussiagenocide:

https://www.businessinsider.in/policy/economy/news/nearly-all-chinese-banks-are-refusing-to-process-payments-from-russia-report-says/articleshow/112519121.cms

98% of Chinese banks unwilling to accept direct payment transfers from Russia.

How is Russia going to continue to conduct the war when the entire war continuing was dependent on China supporting Russia economically.

Looks like Russia is going through the boiling frog scenario and there is still a whole lot more little punishments that the west can mete out.

Absolutely that is the case. China isn't closing Russian payment processing because of bullshit "secondary sanctions by the US" when it's like the biggest trading partner by light years of all of Nato (except UK maybe).

It's closing its doors as the magnitude of Russia's frickup becomes more and more clear. Shitty tech, shitty armaments which they have sold to China, the absolute brvtal mogging its tech had in the hands of the US and the realization that Russia is running on fumes now. At this point the more China enables this, the less room they would leave open for themselves when a post war pro-western favoring stalemate (if not victory) comes.

:marseyconfused: China's biggest trading partners are the US, EU, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Russia is 6th or 7th.

Wrong. China's biggest or second biggest trade partner is ASEAN.

Its probably also that russias finances arent exactly solid. It's economy is bloated up by the massive wartime spending, but that doesnt make for a healthy future and will eventually need to be reabsorbed or dealt with. And that will be very hard since there is little room for the russian productive economy to grow.

The west is sanctioning everything it can get from someone else, and china is competing with russia for any finished goods and only needs natural resources.

Chinese banks will see the writing on the wall that any money loaned to russia is gonna be a write-off, regardless of whethet the russian economy collapses or not.
