Dust mask (to help filter contaminated air)

Plastic sheeting and duct tape (to shelter in place)

Yeah, those will work against the radioactive dirty bomb.

Wrench or pliers (to turn off utilities)

:marseyconfused:

Utilities in my house? Then why even bother with a prep bag when I've got those and more inside?

All you need is a handgun, plenty of bullets, and a bag for "shopping."

Supermarkets urge against panic buying as Government launches 'preppers' website - warning families to start a national crisis 'emergency kit' of tinned food, batteries and bottled water

Their government is obviously trying to stimulate the economy.

!nooticers, does the prep list and bongistan's shenanigans strike you as weird?

Thats right, Thecount! You'll need to strip down and put a layer of Playgirls to protect your supple skin from harmful radiation. This might save your life one day. Here, let me get that for you.

Yes it would help in the case of s dirty bomb. Some nuclear attack miles away would shut off local power for a week or more and in amerikkka we have irregular floods/hurricanes/freezes/ terrorist attacks so keeping a weeks worth of food and water on hand is actually pretty useful

>Plastic and tape ward off radiation and can be set up before it hits your house.

Its the radioactive fallout its there to block. Breathing radioactive particles in is much worse than the small amount of radiation exposure coming through the house

Then how does one breathe?

>the radioactive substance is IN the house

:marseyeyelidpulling:

I get what you're saying; I'm just being difficult (:marseyangel:).

You wouldn't be rescued for months anyway because government is slow and stupid. They say for you to stay there because it's easier to manage people who aren't moving and who will slowly die. Just leave cuz it's your best chance instead of breathing in radioactive air for months.
