IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT 
I have to be deliberately vague on some details so as not to endanger my spouse's job. I will only say that he/she is a government employee. All employees with his/her agency have been informed that they are not to come into the office and to work from home the day AFTER Election Day.
They obviously have some security concerns to implement this. I can't say much more than that. Again, I don't want to put his/her job at risk, but I feel this is important information.

Govt employees definitely show up to work, excessive absenteeism is about the only way you can get fired. They just dont actually do anything once they're on the clock.

The one government place I worked at had a manager who would nap half the day. These boomers were so bored they ended up starting fights with one another with one of them pressing their finger on another's metal foil yogurt lid, leaving a depression.

I was doing some overnight repairs and where I was it was called for DJT at 7AM local time.
Women crying and dudes high fiving when they came into work that day.
We had Young Turks stream on one screen all night and Infowars on the other.
I finished around 8 am grabbed a 6er of bud heavys and watched the Don's victory speech.
