I think the real problem with American soccer is just that it's not well established. It doesn't have the money that euro soccer has, so if you're an actual soccer fan, USA soccer is third rate compared to Euro soccer.

Like I don't think it's even remotely close to having the same kind of fandom as Hockey in America, which is saying quite a bit.

soccer is also boring. it doesn't fit American sentiments. you have a better chance with rugby if you make it flashier

Yeah I'd watch rugby for sure. I think it's actually been gaining traction lately.

Think it would also be cool if hurling happened here too so I could watch that. It seems way cooler than lacrosse. Won't hold my breath though.

lacrosse seems to be relegated to universities and private highschools so theres no way it would ever become popular.
