plenty of them are hugely insecure. Dismissing it all as an ego boost is pure raw cynicism.

Why are they so insistent on telling everyone that there are no ugly women? They KNOW it's not true, they know some people low rolled in life and just look unfortunate. Where does this idea come from that they ALL look beautiful?
The same of course doesn't apply to men (and in some cases women who did a wrongthink)

Some people just get really butt blasted when you say that not everyone is born (physically) equally. So they pretend stuff like ugliness and dumbness don't exist, that everyone is born with their own unique and equally useful talents like they're JRPG characters, that there's no differences between men and women, etc. Just stuff that defies all common sense and tries to pretend nature is fair. So I imagine acknowledging the genetic lottery must be antithetical to their worldviews in some way, though I have yet to figure out what those worldviews are. Maybe 90's girl power mixed with post ww2 anti eugenics sentiment and a dash of diversity is our strength, with foidy hecking wholesome lies as a garnish.
