That post is still r-slurred since pretty much the same genes make both men and women become tall and the difference is a result of testosterone/estrogen affecting bone growth.

Yes but my guess is that such differences are small compared to how higher levels of estrogen make the growth plates fuse faster, regardless of the amount of Growth Hormone and its receptors. Even so, a mutation that would make females shorter in such way would also do the same to a male but to a lesser degree relatively.
