They're right to be concerned, there's a growing subset of men who are really pissy women would rather be single then marry them. And men have the nerve to want kids but don't actually imagine themselves as an equal caretaker
There is also a silent group of men who don't want kids either frankly
Under the old ways scrotes frequently abused the power they had over the household, if they didn't just go out for smokes and not come back, there's no way women will go back to that. Life without kids is also just so much more appealing now then it ever was. If you live in a comfortable country having a kid is basically signing up for your life to be over.
Scrotes make me laugh because every male whining about this is basically asking women to go back to a structure that treated them like garbage. The only compromise I can think of is women forming roving vigilanti gangs and beating the shit out of any moid who enters a marriage but then breaks the social contract
