This comment weirdly validates my asexuality lol. Because I always compliment my husbands looks, I think he often looks beautiful, he has the most gorgeous face and hair ever. But never in my mind ever once has that or good looks from anyone else for that matter translated into me wanting to do physical intimate acts with them. It just means I love them, and I love looking at them because their looks are aesthetically pleasing and part or a larger cosmic beauty

I've known women too who are very sexual but it's much rarer. The asexual ones though it didn't seem to have much to do with birth control. They just never had much sexual desire for as long as they'd been alive and that was it.

I started prodding into the past of some of the asexual ones I've known. 3 have told me they've been on birth control ever since their 2nd or 3rd period. Apparently its very common to prescribe birth control to teens who complain about how painful their periods are, and then they just never stop taking it. I know major libido loss is a common side effect of birth control so I blame the birth control. These girls have been on it for so long they don't even realize they're experiencing side effects.
