I'm an older trans woman that is larger than most humans. My favorite response, which doesn't work for OP, is “Before I transitioned I was more man than you will ever be and now I'm more woman than you can handle.” That usually infuriates them. 😄

If I feel particularly petty, I start listing all the "not feminine" traits I have

Any time anyone on this site accuses me of being trans I just take it as a compliment from misogynist dramatards and an act of radical solidarity with my trans sisters fighting the moid menace one operation at a time.

So, often when I comment or post something I get completely unrelated comments or messages "pointing out" that I'm trans (lmao). I never really took it as an insult, I was just really confused. Until I realised it IS supposed to be an insult, some kind of "gotcha!" moment for them.

So, I'm a cis woman. I never really thought my face features look particularly masculine but I hang out in nerd spaces a lot - essentially full of men who have never seen a woman that's not a heavily filtered Instagram model or a videogame character

Well if you're looking to have fun turning it around on them, something like:

“Hahaha, a lot of people on here have mistaken me for a man. I get your frustration, but don't worry, maybe one day the same thing will happen to you!” (If they tantrum, “Maybe not.”)

“Why do you keep bringing it up? You looking for tips on how to pass as a man? Step 1: Stop whining about how people present, whining is childish not masculine.”

“Imagine outing yourself like this. Saying a cis female at both woman does masculinity better than you do… I mean, you do you, I guess.”

“I'm not trans, but I can totally understand why you're looking to me as the model of masculinity in this space... it's slim pickings here.”

“You seem to know an awful lot about trans bodies… tell us more about your transition!” (If they deny first hand experience, “do you talk out of your butt on every topic you've got no familiarity with, or is this the exception?”)

Then again, these responses would convince me the person is a woman

Why would a woman admit to looking like man?

I remember seeing a lady on bumble that had that in her profile. she was ghoulishly thin and pale. Dumb face. Also mentioned playing ffxiv. Maybe thats why.
