I watched a bit of the show. It is difficult to describe the alieness of the character's

behavior as a consequence from world building attempts forcing certain actions.

The show runners are of course as you expect...

But it is still odd to see the massive disconnect the writers have when it comes to men or humanity in general.

So I read the book. And surprise, surprise, Atwood doesnt really attempt this because she realizes the massive quagmire this would create.

Regardless, the message seem to be women enjoy objectifying themselves more than any other activity.
