This is a great idea. Maybe we can form a network, coordinating across multiple blue states. With housing and transition support. Even basic insulated buildings can be filled with bunk beds. Would mostly need enough food, water and cooking capacity.

Excellent idea. Would you take an older woman who has lots of gardening experience? I'm looking to move to a blue state and do something like this.

This is a great idea. I'm not in the area but interested if you get it off the ground.

Finding people with enough varied skills may be a bit difficult. You'd need to cover all your bases to get something sustainable going. For instance, I'm a (slightly) above average gardener with a tiny seed bank, but I don't have any carpentry experience.

Clarification on the goal: Would this be a commune?
