Lol there was some handmaid's tale at home called "Vox" where the government fitted foids with devices that shocked them when they said more than 100 words in a day
I actually read it, but it wasn't quite funny enough to justify an effortpost. The only funny thing was the protagonist repeatedly cucking her husband because she thought he was part of the regime, then it turns out he was actually a big part of the resistance, then he dies heroically off-page so she can still live happily ever after with Fernando or whatever his name was.
The writer also admitted to it being a published first draft, which is extremely obvious while reading. You can actually see the plot random walking like a GPT bot. She never went back to make the beginning fit the end
