I would be uncomfortable with a black woman pilot but I'd stay on the plane and probably post something racist on the Internet.

I was going to ironically post the waitress from It's Always bizarre Instagram post about having a black pilot but it seems like her PR firm must've scrubbed it almost completely from the internet.

All I could find was this:

https://old.reddit.com/r/IASIP/comments/9auurz/i_feel_kind_of_bad_for_mary_elizabeth_ellis/

and

I feel like I'm going schizo, I've seen it a bunch of times but can't find it whatsoever :marseycry:

edit: never mind found it by searching all time top posts on /r/shitlibsafari, still think here is some PR scrubbing op going on though :marseyschizotwitch#:

I was on a flight where the Indian pilot pissed all over the just cleaned floor, and I was pretty concerned because if you can't aim your piss into a potty how can I expect you to aim the plane onto the runway.

honestly, I am angry that that had to be my first thought (well, right behind "I hope everyone survived.") All I could think of was "I hope both pilots were white and male."

That worry about them being queer stopped being a concern they might be LGB pretty fricking quickly. Not that we needed any more proof that 'queer' only means 'genderspecial', like 'diversity' means 'not white'.

>set up DEI policys where people get hired based on race instead of skill

>natural conclusion is that the people hired based on race instead of skill are less skilled than non DEI employees as thats the whole point of DEI hiring practices

>get upset when people point this out

so uhhh /u/Peanutbutternjelly_ whats the masterplan here, are people just meant to not notice or what?

I tried reading redditor 'rebuttals' on this but I can't wrap my head around it, something like

>It's not discrimination, it's righting past wrongs!

>They're not preferentially hiring less skilled minorities, they're just giving minorities, who happen to be less skilled, more chances to get hired

Because my memory is shit, here's some ACTUAL reddit comments:

>This is more or less it, DEI isn't inherently about shutting out white guys or lowering the standards, but if you're in a target group you'll get more opportunities, and sooner than your non-DEI peers.

This is why i had problems remembering their logic, because .. there's none

>I think in theory it absolutely makes sense.

>In practice, I feel like I got into a good university because I was a woman in CS

Woman admits DEI exists and benefited her, but still 'agrees' with it

>In theory DEI is a good idea, giving everyone an equal opportunity, however this assumes that ALL white and asian people have it easier than ALL other groups.

One guy explains the theory behind it which is basically equity of outcomes coming with the conclusion of well DEI hiring

Here's another wall:

>1)We should admit and hire based on merit instead of having diversity hires and admissions. - This falls apart like an undercooked oatmeal cookie upon further inspection. First, merit has to be defined, which leads to the question of who defines merit? That leads to a dichotomy. You can either have an exclusive group determine what merit is, which necessarily means creating a standard which favors the point-of-view of one group over another and is, thus, discriminatory, or you can reach a broad consensus on merit by including the perspectives of everyone within an industry, which requires diversity and inclusion. This perspective also suggests that a person for whom their diverse background is seen as beneficial necessarily lacks merit, which is a false dichotomy. These things are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Yeah i'm gonna stop :marseybangfast:

They're supposed to support it to the maximum and cheer on the countless millions of dollars that have been put into DEI initiatives and the countless affirmative action programs while simultaneously also denying it exists and saying that there isn't a single DEI hire anywhere in the country and that anyone who mentions it happening is a massive racist who uses "DEI" as code for "BIPOC".

I like to imagine this guy shows up to class everyday and tells all the females they'll never accomplish anything and its useless to try. Like a good teacher would.

Well yes, that's the consequence of DEI leading to underqualified hires.

I hope she's the fattest, ugliest, sassiest Shaniqua that's ever walked the earth. I hope her nails are 6 inches long, I hope she got a weave down to her knees. I hope she is recorded saying 'aw heck no' on the flight recorder. I hope she has a brand new hood phrase that is infinitely quotable in all situations. I hope she's a star. I want to idolize her.

'DEI hire' is also now a stand in for insults like the n-word with a hard 'R' and other obscenities, but it mostly seems to be the n-word, especially towards black women.

Why is all criticism toward DEI is literally the enword? And all regulations for family-planning is literally The Handmaid's Tale?
