In twenty years, the United States killed about twenty times more Afghan civilians than civilians who died in 9/11, and that was an atrocity and no amount of American safety was worth that. In just a few weeks, Netanyahu has already killed ten times as many Palestinian civilians as Israeli civilians who died on Oct 7th and he seems determined to increase that multiplier as much as possible.
How many civilians are you willing to support being killed by your government so you can feel safe? My safety isn't worth 20 innocent Afghan lives and your safety isn't worth 10 innocent Palestinian lives.
As is often the case with angry posts, the problem is the last paragraph. Weighing the lives of civilians against each other is enough for a threadban, while weighing them against that of a specific RPGnet poster is one of the more awful kinds of personal attack.
However, the post you were responding to specifically made that comparison, so I can see the cause and effect. If someone makes a post like that, don't respond, report.
I'm suspending you for one day. When you return, do not reply to this thread.
(Note: Because Zeea is a mod, it took me longer than normal to get all of this together. The suspension took effect at 11:30 AM on December 9th, and expired 24 hours later on December 10th.)
