The lack of focus on emotions and relationships and whatnot is one of my favorite parts about 40k. I don't care about emotions and relationships. I'd rather watch some YouTube neurodivergent lore deep dive than an official story of interpersonal drama or whatever. If 40k becomes a typical setting focused on a few characters their emotions and relationships I'm gonna be super disappointed.
