Huum, you can clearly see from (I) the direction of the shade coming from our MC, (II) and the fact that he was walking on panel 1 and is withouth sneakers AND with the towel laid on the sand, that the events probably occurred roughly 4 minutes from one another, giving our MC enough time to keep walking, take the shoes off, lay down the towel and get approached by Beach Hunk. Therefore, background character #1 and #2 are NOT the same.
