I like how the commenters immediately dive into how aghast they are at her for using the name Cho Chang and how the goblins are antisemitic, as if they weren't repeating impassioned "Trump is Voldemort" metaphors ten years ago.

I think the more Joanne talks the worse TERFs look.

There was a time between 2020 and 2023 when it looked like TERFs were breaking into the centre ground and, in the UK at least, that short period has had real life negative consequences for trans rights.

JK Rowling is seen as the reasonable voice just speaking up for women's rights because only she is rich enough to be immune to the nasty cancellers.

But a few more outbursts like this and she's gonna end up a pariah like Posey Parker which no one serious wants to be associated with. Bring it on I say. She's a loon.
