here is the timeline.
>normal phenotypical female (ie. female s*x organs, looks like a woman from the outside) grows up and pursues boxing
>from algeria, where being trans is illegal
>literally normal woman
>has lost to other female boxers a lot
>puts in the effort, improves
meanwhile
>world boxing org international boxing authority (IBA) is couped by a russian who becomes president and brings in more russians and russian sponsors
>algerian girlie beats russian boxer in the ring
>IBA president (russian) goes on russian state TV and says that algerian girlie failed a gender test
>this comes straight from the president (russian asset), not even the IBA board itself
>IBA won't say what test was conducted, just states that it WASN'T a testosterone test
>some ppl guess that its chromosomes and that's where that XY thing comes from, but no confirmation
>IBA disqualifies her after the fact, denying her her first place medal
back to the olympics
>IOC (olympics) discredits IBA for being shady, corrupt, and the Ukraine invasion, all reasons unrelated to trans stuff/algerian girlie
>algerian girlie qualifies for womens stuff just fine (passes olympic tests)
>italian girlie has a dream of being an olympic medalist
>insert sob story about dead dad or something
>before the olympics, italian girlie breaks her nose.
>decides to compete anyway (rip daddy)
>but the truth is italian girlie is at best a mid-level boxer
>she was never going to win
>during the fight, she makes several mistakes. she has bad form, leaves herself open, etc. (go on actual boxing forums discussing the fight and everyone says that she wasn't going to win no matter what)
>algerian girlie capitalizes on her poor form. she lands a punch right in the face
>probably re-injured/broke her nose again
>feels like the hardest she's ever been punched
>due to re-injury/fear of re-injury, she resigns
>cries because everything she's trained for was for naught
>it wasnt her fault she got a broken nose.
>it wasnt fair.
>she's mad and doesn't shake algerian girlie's hand
later
>right-leaning media pushes the idea that algerian girlie is trans (she isn't). russians probably spoonfed them the story desu
>mouthbreathers on the internet eat up the story because muh womenz sportz and muh transgenders
>after seeing the media shitshow, italian girlie apologizes to algerian girlie
some say that to this day, chuds are spreading literal russian propaganda

Not stating the specifics of a specialized test is perfectly normal. You don't want to tell people how to cheat it lol, otherwise you end up with early 2000s olympics. It was a DNA test of some kind which concluded she had XY chromosomes (not an assumption like you say, this was directly stated) I.e. hermaphrodity which is just as banned as being male. Can you please stop the cope already, the only reason people brought up Trans people is because you guys keep claiming intersexes as your own 😭
Reminder that she appealed the ban but pulled back as soon as she had to provide proof to the contrary

They don't disclose it for privacy reasons. The eligibility criteria for pretty much all female sport is public and subject to judicial review. If what's her name had gone through with the cas appeal a lot of this would be public.

Swyer syndrome isn't really being a hermaphrodite. They just have woman parts.
People with XY karyotypes and Sawyer syndrome can give birth, have ovaries, fallopian tubes, a womb, and everything else present in a woman. Imran did not at any point "transition" to be a woman; she was born and raised as a girl.
It's not having the SRY gene activate to make you a moid and therefore you get born with all female hardware. It's the biological equivalent of being born with the wrong serial number. Or having a VIN that says your Focus is an F-150. A weird manufacturing defect that doesn't mean your POS car is the best selling truck in the world.
The first known step of sexual differentiation of a male fetus is the development of testes. Early testicular formation in the second month of gestation requires several genes, one of the earliest and most important being SRY. When this gene is defective, the indifferent gonads fail to differentiate into testes in an XY fetus. Without testes, no testosterone or anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is produced. Without testosterone, the Wolffian ducts fail to develop, so no internal male organs are formed. Also, the lack of testosterone means that no dihydrotestosterone is formed, and consequently, the external genitalia fail to virilize, resulting in a normal vulva.
The Ruzzian/Kazakh didn't provide any proof of these tests wither. She could have just been on PEDs or HRT. We don't even have a solid source that she's an XY karyotype
This has noting to do with trains and I feel bad for this lady. Burger culture war is fricking AIDS

Hermaphrodite just means having both parts, they can be internal as well. Swyer described the syndrome as a "new kind of hermaphroditism" although it is considered separate from true hermaphrodity.
