Veganism is a privileged lifestyle choice, only available to first worlders or wealthy third-world elites. People who have the luxury of being able to afford more expensive foods and have access to greater variety and choice.
That's not a bad thing, of coure. Wealth is objectively awesome. But from a marxist perspective, a luxury of the bourgeoisie isn't praxis.
