Valve has an annual revenue that is more than 2x what Epic games generates per year.
Epic games has one of the highest earning games on the planet. It collaborates with singers and artists and household names all the time. Pays out millions in royalties too get character skins in their games of famous characters. It's engine is one of the best in the world and is being taken up by major studios across the AAA industry in current year. It's engine is used in making ads and probably movies too.
Yet it has half the revenue per year of Valve, most famous for the half life series and selling video games online.
Valve is right behind Nintendo as well. Probably going too surpass Nintendo in another 2-10 years.
