This is the first time since 2015 that he willingly shows his face, playing a scruffy schizo character, likely wearing a wig and recording it using a shitty camera 
Allegedly, his entire vidya dev career is based on a few fever dreams he had as a teenager. Imagine making millions from stuff that literally "came to you in a dream"

I think the FNAF guy did it best. He struck gold with the first game then just quintupled down on making as many as he could with a flimsy and obscure plot to drive youtube clickbait for more free marketing. His net worth is somewhere around $70 million now and I believe he's still licensing out the franchise for movies and stuff.
