Recommend me games for my new steam deck

I have tetris effect, the new yakuza gaiden and I managed to get dsda-doom on it with all my pwads

I barely play video games nor know what's good. My steam account is from 2003 and was barely touched after half life 2 so I don't know what good computer games are

I got this thing so I have some extra entertainment when I camp and it's been good so far for that purpose

I just recently got an ROG Ally. So a little more powerful but some notable games from my library

Batman Arkham Games - seriously they're all amazing. I played City and Knight but just finished Arkham Asylum, ran amazingly. Started playing City again and it runs great. I'm trying to knock all four out by summer 24.

Elden Ring runs well enough on the Ally. I assume the Deck should be able to at least play it low to medium settings 40-60fps. Best AAA game in a decade. I have 400 hours in it and still have fun picking it up from time to time.

FFVII remake has been fun. I picked it up on sale two weeks ago for like $35. I haven't played since the original on PS1. If you're into the genre and FF lore it's a good game but get it on sale for sure. Idk if it's worth full price but def worth $40 or less.

Witcher 3 has been fun to play portable. Runs decently well and the control scheme translates to these devices well enough.

I never played Bioshock but have owned them all for years. I played a few hours of the Bioshock remaster and it ran amazingly so that's a suggestion.

Dust: an Eysian Tail is a good one. I just love this game even if it's old. https://store.steampowered.com/app/236090/Dust_An_Elysian_Tail

Hades is a good pickup

Borderlands games are always on sale and fun looter shooters. I haven't played BL1 in a while but I can say BL2 holds up for sure as I replayed it last year.

Skyrim is an obvious choice. It runs on a potato and the menus were built for controllers.

Metro 2033 and Last Light were fun. I've only tested them on my Ally but they ran fine.

Nier Atomata is a great RPG. I really like the vibe of the world.

Sleeping Dogs is a low key sleeper pick as it's older also. But I replayed it during covid and was just as fun as I remember. I have it on my ally and ran the benchmark and can get 100+ fps on med-high so I assume steam deck should be able to crush it at constant 60 on med-high settings.

Diablo IV is perfect portable, but only if you're into that kind of game. If not or you're not sure don't waste your time

Ghostwire Tokyo has been fun but I'm playing on gamepass and only a few hours in.

Super Meat Boy and Celeste, maybe try Celeste first

The one I am currently working on most at the moment is High on Life but through gamepass. It is available on Steam. It's fun, gives me vibes from destroy all humans and ps2 era games. Idk why, maybe it's the stupid humor but it's just genuinely a good time. This one don't play in public though without headphones.
