DUSK (aka best indie FPS) recently released a free HD texture update along with an SDK and full Steam Workshop support

Basically this means that an already good game got even better and warrants a replay from me in the near future, and if you :marseygoodjob: never played it this is a good moment to try it out (there's a free demo if you're really hesitant). It's worth it for the soundtrack alone

I will say though that while I'll definitely give it a full playthrough with HD textures, I do very much like the pixelated PS1 style more than the updated one, at least from what I saw in trailers and teaser material.

Still, very happy to see that a 5 year old game is getting a big update like that for free, and can't wait to try the steam workshop mods/levels once the people get the hang of the cowtools.

I've had this installed on my deck and pc for like over a year but I've never bothered to actually play it lol

It looks really cool but ugh

I can just play like Yoshis Island, you know?
