I finally played the God of War reboot after years of hearing how incredible it is and it was just fine. I didn't dislike the game but as soon as I finished it I felt zero desire to play a sequel or replay any part of it, I really don't understand the hype the new games get.

It won best game, best direction and best narrative at the game awards and GOTY at the Baftas. It has a 94/100 on Metacritic (5th highest of any game on the PS4) and a 9.1 user rating. It was always getting talked about as one of the best games you could get on playstation
