I watched someone stream Stray Souls and it was so bad, I wouldn't be optimistic about this

Just saw the actual steam trailer for Stray Souls.
No, it actually looks better than this game on still images, but then you watch the trailer and realize it's just another Unreal Engine game with canned assets out the butt, shitty gunplay and camera angles, fricked up graphical glitches that SHOULDN'T EVEN BE IN THE TRAILER, MEANT TO ADVERTISE THE GAME TO PEOPLE.
I'm genuinely in awe sometimes at the shovelware I see pop up on steam nowadays, I feel like if these people actually wanted to be successful game devs they'd make their own assets, animations and whatnot so that the game actually looks like something someone would want to play, but they don't and continue to make cheap shit like this. I have no idea how these people make any sort of return on investment.
