Right?? It was sort of funny how pathetic Gort and Orin were in comparison but it definitely made Act 3 less pressing. Act 2 has such a killer introduction to Ketheric and it really made you feel like it's urgent that you kill this immortal fricker ASAP.
Halsin sucks lol he's so flat but he did give me a carved duck in the epilogue.
Also agreed on Act 3. After I finish the companion quests I usually just go right to the brain fight lol. Jaheira is also fantastic I've never played the first two Baldur's Gate games but I 100% want to now because of how cool Jaheira was.

Like 90 percent of my playthroughs of the game have died right after act 2 TBH.
Act 3 is great for all of the companion story lines wrapping up, but once you have done them once it kind of loses the allure IMO.
But all of the Jaheira stuff was awesome, I thought I would hate her but she is one of my favorite companions after beating the game.
Pretty much the opposite of the Himbo bear everyone wanted to frick, that neighbor was awful and felt like he wasn't finished.
