I think in this case people are so sick of Nintendo pumping out dogshit for like 2 decades anyone using their designs for an actual attempt at a game is popular despite obvious copying.

yeah I want everyone to eat nintendos lunch at this point because instead of making new game mechanics and innovating etc they literally waste all their effort trying to shutter it and/or steal it back afterwards when someone else takes the initiative like the notanothermetroid remake or the multiplayer breath of the wild mod
